Sculpture Trail

Sculpture trail at Webber's Post on Exmoor

As part of the 50th anniversary of Exmoor National Park and the 60th anniversary of National Trust’s Holnicote Estate, the Trust and the National Park Authority hosted 'Wood 2004', an international chainsaw woodcarving festival.

The festival took place at Piles Mill at the end of September 2004 with sculptors, from as far away as Ukraine, producing works of art from locally supplied 2 metre long logs.

The finished sculptures have been transported to Webbers Post where they have been sited to create a sculpture trail. The trail follows the path for the disabled so access is suitable for everyone.
