Clerk / Responsible Finance Officer to Porlock Parish Council
Porlock Parish Council seeks to appoint to the combined post of a Clerk / Responsible Financial Officer. This combined post is part-time involving a minimum of 20 hours each week on average. It will be a combination of home and office working with the emphasis on office working to maximise the clerk’s availability to the public.

The successful candidate is not required to have local government experience but will be expected to handle the formal minutes, agendas, accounts and correspondence of the Council.
Preferred experience is that the candidate will hold the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA). An applicant without CiLCA will be expected to achieve the award within 12 months of taking up employment with the council; all necessary training will be provided.

The salary will be per the NJC recommended salary scale SCP 26-29
£23,166-£25,951 pro rata
